What a wonderful addition to town!! I have two younger children you have recently shown an interest in collecting cards. Every time we have been in the shop Chris has been so welcoming. He engages in conversation, explains all the things to us, and answers any and all questions my children send to him rapid fire. Definitely will continue to recommend!!
Chris and the guys have left me speechless at how much they help and care about the deals we make! 10/10 will always do business!
We love visiting The Vet Hobby Shop. Even my Son and Daughter-in-law like to visit when they are in town. The Vet Hobby Shop did a great job hosting the first Card Show at Emerald Acres. Great to have a shop in town where Card Collectors can trade locally. Keep up the great work Chris and Team!
I had an awesome visit with my family today to The Vet Hobby Shop and to Mattoon, IL. This shop has everything you could hope for in an LCS- loaded with singles, graded and raw cards, modern and vintage in all sports, WWE, Pokemon, etc. Lots of great wax, supplies and a community atmosphere that make it a welcome place to enjoy the hobby. My wife and daughters 14 and 9 came with me and everyone was very impressed with the shop. The selection was awesome but the real secret sauce here is the people. Chris and his team were polite and attentive in helping us find certain players and card types while we visited and we even picked up a pink Zion case for my 9 year old. This one is going to go in the rotation for shops we visit when we get the chance for a little day trip. If you are in the area, do not sleep on the Vet Hobby Shop. It is an outstanding hobby shop
100% recommend shopping at The Vet Hobby shop! They are not only reasonable and fair but they do everything they can to give back to the next generation of young collectors. I have personally seen the owner work with kids to understand the hobby, help them start their own businesses, and teach them life skills they don’t teach kids at school. I truly appreciate Chris as well as the great community they are building!
